IPS provided design-build services to improve a 50,000 sf manufacturing facility and convert the space for contract manufacturing, assembly, and QA/QC testing of machining products in Morgan Hill, CA. IPS acted as the design-build contractor for the development of the manufacturing tenant improvement that includes 70 new and relocated CNC tools. The project also included 1,500 sf of QA/QC testing rooms, new offices, new units on the roof, new ducting throughout the building, new sprinklers, and electrical distribution.

The architectural scope of work included the removal of existing interior walls to reconfigure the space for open offices, enclosed offices, and conference rooms. The MEP design scope included new mechanical equipment to serve the project. The existing power was reused and reconfigured to accommodate the CNC equipment plan, new QA/QC testing rooms, and office layouts. New lighting fixtures were also used in accordance with the new ceiling grid and reflected ceiling plan.
